Deathcrush

Mayhem's first official release, the Deathcrush EP, is one of the most groundbreaking albums from the early days of the black metal genre. Originally released in 1987, the album has a uniquely raw, lo-fidelity sound quality, combining simplicity and progressive exploration.

Deathcrush was, and is to this day, a symbol of the emerging Norwegian black metal movement which helped shape the genre worldwide.
