Budgie’s 10th studio release would prove to be their last, aside from an attempted comeback in 2006. It marked a clear shift in sound, leaning into a more melodic and commercial approach than much of their earlier output.

That change brought a mixed response from hardcore fans of their NWOBHM era at the time. Looking back now, what stands out is a strong melodic rock record packed with great songs, memorable melodies, and some seriously sharp playing throughout.
