Demolate

Methane come in swinging on Demolate, a title forged from “demolish” and “annihilate” that says plenty about the intent here. This is thrash built to tear through convention, with hardcore punk impact, Bay Area speed, razor riffs, thunderous drums and commanding vocals leading the charge.

A fierce presence in the New Wave of Old-School Thrash Metal, Methane push apocalyptic themes and raw, beer-fuelled energy without losing the precision. It is a full-speed record with a chaotic streak, made for the pit and delivered with real conviction.

Formed in 2012, the band moved from early groove metal into the thrash roots of founders Tim Scott, formerly of Revenant with John McEntee (pre-Incantion), and Jimi Mästerbo. Since then, Methane have toured across Europe and the U.S., sharing stages with Whiplash, Warbringer, Nervosa and Massacre, plus festivals including Sabaton OA, Speed Metal Party and In Flammen OA.
