Desire Pathway

Desire Pathway is Jersey rock band Screaming Females' first release of all new material since 2018. The trio recorded Desire Pathway at Pachyderm Studios, the same Minnesota space where Nirvana recorded 1993’s In Utero. Bandleader Marissa Paternoster shared a brief statement about the lead single “Brass Bell,” calling it “a song about surrendering your autonomy to something so overwhelmingly powerful you willingly relinquish your ambitions and self-worth.” She continued, “My intention was to draw an interesting dichotomy between the muscular nature of the song and the rather bleak, worried lyrics.” Limited to 750 copies, the VMP exclusive version of Screaming Females' Desire Pathway is pressed on Red vinyl at Citizen Vinyl. The 1LP will arrive in a single, direct-to-board, foil-stamped and numbered jacket. It was mastered by Ed Brooks at Resonant Mastering.
