Diatribes

Whilst fans expecting more lightspeed grindcore may have been baffled by Diatribes when it was released, time has been kind to the album, with the bands adventurous detours into industrial soundscapes and denser, more groove based songs holding up nicely today in a post-nu-metal world. Diatribes may not match the skin-flaying fury of Napalm Deaths more well-known material, but it showcases a whole new side of the band and ably proves (as if there were ever any doubt) that Napalm Death are far from a one-trick pony.
