Dreamer and the Deep

Dreamer and the Deep is an archive album featuring NMJ's early years, 1974 and 1975. It is released now as an archive companion album to the 50th Anniversary reissue of Ship to Shore (1976-2026). Both albums are launched on the same day.

Dreamer's original tapes were retrieved by producer-engineer John Acock, co-producer of all Steve Hackett's solo albums. Steve Hackett was the original guitarist with Genesis.

Dreamer features six live-in-concert tracks and one 17-minute filibuster of a song that gave rise to the eventual writing of Ship to Shore, with its well-known long instrumental end piece.
