Elastica’s iconic self-titled debut Elastica returns via Rough Trade Records in a new edition packed with rarities and b-sides. First released in March 1995, it still sounds brilliantly sharp, capturing the energy and emotional blur of life, love and late nights with total confidence.

With Line Up, Connection and Waking Up, Elastica delivered songs that felt immediate then and remain timeless now. Drawing on post-punk and new wave while sounding entirely their own, Justine Frischmann, Annie Holland, Donna Matthews and Justin Welch made a debut full of swagger, cool and clarity.
