introducing emily and her faves. on electric guitar and vocals is song writer, artist and quirky front girl, emily. her faves on drums and bass supply the backbones to her catchy psych-pop melody frilled songs in a heady 60's mix up. emily and the faves have just launched their self titled debut album, which gracefully pockets up a collection of their best songs, that faves fans all over have been eagerly awaiting since their first tours in 2008. this is an outstanding debut album some great pop songs on here, definitely in the vein of the classic british indie pop sound of the late 80s, like the primitives, darling buds, we are going to eat you etc; and with a really great swathe of late 60's psychedelic pop (jefferson airplane / etc), yet still modern and fresh sounding. folky, psychedelic pop that will keep the summer going... emily also plays guitar in stealing sheep.
