On Espaces, Hatti Vatti’s Piotr Kaliński continues his collaboration with Piotr Chęcki, Paweł “Wuja HZG” Stachowiak and Rafał Dutkiewicz.
Electronics, saxophone, bass guitar and drums meet moments of calm and minimalism. Synth-based ambient, improvised jazz and traditional 1970s dub techniques underpin an album that draws on the psychedelic atmosphere of Picnic at Hanging Rock, the Polish band Laboratorium and King Tubby’s studio sound.
