Buddy Miles, ex-Electric Flag drummer, released his first four albums for Mercury Records dating back to 1968, 1969, and 1970. One side of Electric Church was produced by Jimi Hendrix, whom Miles first met in 1964.

Them Changes made the US Top 40, spending nearly 18 months on the charts. With the demise of The Experience, Hendrix formed Band of Gypsys with Miles on drums, however, this collaboration was fairly short-lived and Miles later reformed the Express.

The albums have been digitally remastered and are now available in a slipcase. Additionally, this release comes with extensive new notes for fans and collectors.
