EXT VOL. 1 (Edition 2)

Following the complete sell-out of the first 1,000-copy pressing, Clock DVA’s EXT Vol. 1 returns in a definitive second edition. It gathers the first in a series of compositions built from sonic material recorded at Elektronmusikstudion EMS Stockholm between 18 and 24 April 2016.

Improvisational at heart and open to creative experimentation, these sessions became the foundation for new original tracks across this and later Clock DVA EXT volumes. The music is immediate and intuitive, shaped in the moment through performance, emotion, instrumental technique, and spontaneous exchange.

There is also a link here to psychic automatism and precognitive action, with the recordings channeling an intuitive process shared and expanded between artists. Though improvisational and touched by chance, they carry a distinct spirit beyond purely aleatory music. You can also hear early sound experiments later developed into NOESIS.
