To celebrate the 15th anniversary of one of its seminal releases, Love You Just the Same by Centro-matic, here is a new rendition of the classic song “Flashes and Cables” by William Matheny.

Like all great covers, Matheny and his band make the tune their own with a snarling wall of tremolo and overdrive that underpins the vitriol of the lyrics. The B-side, “Chris an Name,” is the greatest song that Tom Petty never wrote... a must-listen for country rock fans everywhere!
