Friedhof

Friedhof was a German band from the early 1970s that released a single self-titled album and then faded into oblivion. The album is a collection of totally insane jam sessions. The classic power trio had no vocals, and while retaining certain extreme krautrock qualities, they ventured into darker proto-hard territory. What we hear is a forty-three-minute marathon with elements of heavy blues and prog rounding it out. A lost classic finally rediscovered!
