Gato Negro

Gato Negro is the final album by 7 Year Bitch. The band, which was active between 1990 and 1997, released the album in 1996 on a major label. It’s got the heavy and slow bass lines, fuzzy guitar and the angry vocals by band member Selene Vigil for which they are known. They were edgy and fierce, as showcased on most of the tracks on the record. Gato Negro spawned three singles: The History Of My Future, 24,900 Miles Per Hour and Miss Understood. Some songs even got melodies of the grunge sound of the ‘90s, while the album is still punk dominated. Limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies on moss green vinyl.
