Reissue of an album released originally in 1980 on Ata Tak. Der Plan (Moritz R, Frank Fenstermacher, Pyrolator) are seen as key pioneers of the German new wave (Neue Deutsche Welle). They revolutionized synthesizer pop on their debut album 'Geri Reig' (1980): produced with minimal means, at times experimental electronic music, playful bordering on dilettantish, and always with a sense of humour.
