For their eighth album, DAILY THOMPSON returned to Seattle to record with Tony Reed, as they did for Chuparosa. You can hear and feel the damp American Northwest and its musical history in every groove: subtly grungy, alternative, melodic and melancholy, yet still rough-edged.

With Glue, the band bring in new influences without losing their identity. The dual vocals of Danny Zaremba and Mercedes Lalakakis remain a highlight, while the songwriting balances atmosphere, emotion and a strong sense of melody.

After hundreds of shows across Europe, plus festival invitations in Spain and America, they are set for their first headlining tour of England and a German tour with CONSTANCE TOMB. Singles Heart of Bones, BTK and Fake A Smile are worth checking out, but this is very much an album-length record.
