Goodwife

With an escapist blend of post punk, alt-rock and alluring pop-infused songwriting, Friedberg’s sound is primed for a night out. The project itself was born out of a vision to create a totally new sound for London-based, Austrian born Anna Friedberg (writer, vocals, guitar) and backed by a stellar cast of touring musicians. The first single Hello; is one of the many upcoming highlights from Friedberg's debut album Hardcore Workout Queen;. The enthusiastic, uplifting and positive song already attached attention.

With Goodwife; Friedberg release their second long player, again via Clouds Hill. Bringing together their distinctive own-brand of groove-based alt-rock, with Hardcore Workout Queen Friedberg broaden their sonic palettes: psychedelia, math-rock, post-punk and beyond all joining the fray, often coupled with huge pop-leaning hooks. The results? An electric debut album that is undeniably Friedberg.
