The Hamburg based label Grand Hotel van Cleef announces the sixth studio album by indie rock band Kettcar with great anticipation and celebration. The long-awaited follow-up to "Ich vs. Wir" (2017, "One of the most powerful and important German albums of the year" - spiegel.de) was produced by Simon Frontzek, Rudi Maier, Philipp Schwär and Philipp Steinke. Kettcar paint the whole picture on "Gute Laune ungerecht verteilt" - both lyrically and musically. Harsh post-punk thunderstorms, acoustic, spoken word. Which style do you want? They're all on here. The twelve songs tell stories of, on and about Bayreuth, hospital rooms, Rügen, the supermarket, the Enterprise and the Blue Lagoon. Sometimes with a fist in your pocket, sometimes with your heart in your throat. The first single from the album is called "München", a song that you certainly wouldn't have expected from a band from Hamburg.
