Recorded with producer Stephen Street (The Smiths, The Cranberries), Happiness In Magazines is Graham Coxon's fifth solo album. It became his most successful solo release to that point, reaching the UK Top 20 and winning him Best Solo Artist at the 2005 NME Awards.

Led by the note-perfect pop of Bittersweet Bundle Of Misery and the riotous, Skids-like Freakin' Out, the album taps into classic power pop, UK punk and '60s songwriting with real ease and confidence.

"Bittersweet Bundle Of Misery and Freakin' Out were two of the first things I wrote," recalls Graham. "I remember thinking, Oh, actually, maybe my songwriting is getting a bit better? Stephen just got it... things like The Cars and The Jam."
