Carla Olson co-founded the Textones with Kathy Valentine, recorded duo albums with two of rock’s most beloved and iconic figures, Gene Clark and Mick Taylor, was featured in Bob Dylan’s first video, Sweetheart Like You, has recorded with Eric Clapton and John Fogerty, written music, with estate permission, to poems by Brian Jones and Jim Morrison and produced a wide range of artists including albums by Paul Jones (of Manfred Mann), Phil Upchurch, Joe Louis Walker and Mare Winningham. She’s also released a series of her own albums beginning in the early 1980’s.
