Hearth Room, the newest of release from Frost Children (siblings Angel and Lulu Prost), is a collection of masterful lyrical storytelling and multi-instrumental songwriting inspired by folk, bedroom/bubblegum pop, and soft acoustics. Following the success of Speed Run, the duo’s return to thoughtfully challenge their reputation as hyperpop’s newest ambassadors shows instead their breadth in musicality and roots in earnest musicianship. “Marigold” is indie pop at its finest–gentle, melodic, and lively.
