Holy Fire

After serving as the house band at David Holmes’ legendary Belfast club night God’s Waiting Room, Skymas were invited into the studio to make a full album with Holmes at the helm.

Recorded over the course of a year, the record captures a clear shift from a live, evolving project built on repetition and ritual into something more deliberate and defined, without losing that raw, hypnotic charge.

Drawing equally from electronic music, rock and film, Skymas build tracks that feel physical and immersive, driven by pulse and texture. Produced by renowned Belfast producer and composer David Holmes, whose credits include Primal Scream, Unloved and Noel Gallagher, it distils the intensity of those performances into a cohesive, cinematic whole.
