Howlin' Wolf

Recorded in 1961 for Chess Records, Howlin' Wolf's second LP stands as a cornerstone of electric Chicago blues. Backed by a razor-tight band, Wolf delivers towering performances driven by grit, power, and authority. Featuring timeless standards like "Red Rooster" and "Spoonful," the album shaped the vocabulary of modern blues and rock. Decades later, it remains a raw and uncompromising blues essential.
