I Am Lono Ep

I Am Lono operate out of Nottingham and on this self-produced EP the listener is treated to actually quite a great time. sounding epic and pop with dark, atmospheric undercurrents, I Am Lono sound a little like punks who've ditched the cool tag and gone straight for big, big songs. 'number' hits a similar spot to tampa bay punks merchandise, with mammoth guitar walls and electronic drums dressing up an impassioned, impeccably executed male vocal. a macquette comes resplendent in gated drums, mid-80s synths to strike somewhere in a gothic region between Sisters of Mercy and Echo and the Bunnymen while unit is a brooding, dark piece that explodes into a guitar frenzy. great stuff from out of the blue.
