I Should Be Happy

Originally begun in the 1990s, the Swimming Pool Q's' singer, Anne Richmond Boston, has completed her new DB Recs solo album, I Should Be Happy, with the support of David Barbe, the legendary Athens' producer/engineer  (currently on bass with Sugar).  I Should Be Happy features several of Anne's original compositions along with inspired performances by guitarist Bob Elsey of the Swimming Pool Q's, vocalists Marti Jones and Syd Straw, and NRBQ's great pianist, Terry Adams, who contributes a song, as well. Stand-out tracks include Anne's beautiful interpretation of Sandy Denny's "The Music Weaver" and her version of the Jimi Hendrix classic, "The Wind Cries Mary" (CD only).
