Yes, it’s a brand new Christmas single from Swansea Sound. We all love to celebrate that wonderful time of the year when everyone can pretend they are living in the 1970s. Swansea Sound are no exception. “(I Wanna Wear A) Mirrored Hat Like Slade” is upbeat, raucous, funny and a genuine tribute to one of the greatest British bands ever. The 2-track single (also including “Dreamland”) is available as a special CD inside a festive greetings card, designed by Swansea artist Catrin Saran James. Swansea Sound are sometimes described as an indiepop supergroup (the band includes members of Heavenly, The Pooh Sticks, The Dentists etc etc). But they aren’t all that interested in the past, and enjoy doing new stuff.
