Into the Future is the ninth studio album by the American hardcore punk band Bad Brains, originally released on November 20, 2012, on Megaforce Records. The album serves as a tribute to Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys, a longtime friend of the band who passed away from cancer six months before the album's release.
Bad Brains also produced their previous album, Build a Nation. This reissue of Into the Future on vinyl comes in gatefold packaging, featuring cover art by Shepard Fairey. Fairey is a street artist known for his iconic Barack Obama "Hope" poster used during the 2008 campaign. His work has been showcased in various contemporary art museums, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
