Investigacion Musical Desde Las Raices Folklore Afro Uruguayo

Recorded in 1977, Jorge Trasante's Investigacion Musical Desde Las Raices Folklore Afro Uruguayo explores South American percussion and Afro-Uruguayan rhythms. The recording grew from a period in which Trasante worked with Eduardo Mateo, Rada and Pippo Spera, before moving to Europe and later recording eighteen albums with the Gipsy Kings.

This first vinyl reissue is cut directly from 24-bit/96kHz master tape transfers, bringing a long-unavailable document of Uruguayan music back into circulation.
