Kansai Bruises

Valentina Magaletti, drummer, percussionist, and composer known for her work with Moin, Holy Tongue, and Vanishing Twin, has teamed up with musician, producer, and composer YPY (aka Koshiro Hino of Goat) for their latest LP titled Kansai Bruises, released via AD 93.

The duo takes listeners on a journey through Osaka's neon-lit streets, combining abrasive drums and handcrafted Japanese electronics that feel like pavement against the skin. Their music is a blend of bliss and bruises, with themes of hope and fear intertwining in metallic percussion as dreams of pesto drift through sake-soaked alleyways.
