In an emotional statement shared on social media in August 2025, frontman Hannes Braun revealed: “I will be stepping away from the rock ’n’ roll stage and will no longer be the voice behind the microphone of KD.”

He also shared, “So many fans expressed their wish for one final album with me on vocals. From those wishes, the idea for this album gradually became reality.” The record brings brand-new songs in the band’s signature arena rock style, alongside revisited and reimagined cuts from their past catalogue.
