Legends Of The Fall - Original Soundtrack

Director Ed Zwick's 1994 end-of-the-west film was a conspicuous vehicle for star Brad Pitt and a plodding melodrama that yearned to be an epic. Composer James Horner took his cue from the latter concern, producing bold, memorable music that hearkened back to 1989's Glory (also made with Zwick). An underappreciated work by one of the '90s most successful film scorers, Legends' rich melodies may outlive the film itself.
