Life and Death etc

There’s life, there’s death, and then there’s everything in between on Martin Luke Brown’s third solo studio album, life & death etc, released via Bright Antenna Records on September 18th.

The album marks a new chapter after Brown’s departure from the major label world, reuniting him with childhood best friend and longtime collaborator, Grammy award winner Matt Zara (Teddy Swims, Niall Horan, Oliva Dean, Lola Young). Their approach is instinctive, free and rooted in simply playing music together.

Inspired by music made by people, for people, life & death etc is built to resonate. Brown expands his indie-soul sound with tender, janky arrangements, subtle psych touches and cracked-out country, drawing on 60s and 70s classics while balancing the cosmic, the everyday, grief and joy.
