Sunn O))) presents their new album, recorded by Steve Albini. This album is fully realized and completely real. The record was produced by the core of Stephen and Greg and arranged by the greater constellation Sunn O))).
Paintings by visual artist Samantha Keely Smith graciously adorn the sleeve, providing a perfectly suitable mask to the proceedings. These paintings collide ideas of 19th-century romanticism and late 20th-century abstract expressionism (mysticism) with Sunn O)))'s approach to metal, referencing artists such as Arbo, Turner, Delville, Richter, Turrel, and Wou-Ki.
