Look Back (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

The original soundtrack to Look Back, composed by acclaimed Japanese composer haruka nakamura, arrives on vinyl.

Based on the celebrated manga by Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto, Look Back follows aspiring manga artists Fujino and Kyomoto as their shared passion for drawing brings them together and shapes their lives in unexpected ways. Directed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama, the animated film is a story about friendship, creativity, loss and what keeps us creating.

haruka nakamura’s intimate score sits at the emotional heart of the film, pairing delicate piano, strings and acoustic instrumentation with its quiet, hand-drawn beauty. Across 16 tracks, from “Rainy Dance” to “FINAL ONE” and the closing theme “Light song” featuring vocals by urara, it follows Fujino and Kyomoto’s journey through friendship, separation and remembrance.
