Love is The Message

Love Is the Message is the 1973 second album by MFSB. Known for its lush orchestration and smooth fusion of soul, funk, and disco, the album features the iconic tracks “TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia)”; the number one pop, R&B, and adult contemporary hit and winner of the 1974 Grammy for Best R&B Instrumental Performance. It played a key role in shaping the Philly soul sound and remains a landmark in 1970s dance and R&B music. The song which gave the title to the album, "Love Is the Message", was ranked by Rolling Stone number 53 in their list of the "200 Greatest Dance Songs of All Time".
