MANIPULATOR is the long awaited debut LP from Nottingham Space-Funkateers REVENGE OF CALCULON and sees them blending elements of 1980’s electro with a whole lot of squelching funk basslines, Hip hop beats and sci-fi sound effects. Unlike their mainly instrumental previous releases the album features a number of guest vocalists including two collaborations with rapper/beatboxer Motormouf. The track Atari-Safari name drops about every video game you can think of and Electric soup follows one guy’s journey into a world of mysterious psychedelics.
