Match of the Day Elland Rd, Leeds June 1st 1991

The publication captures the legendary "Match of the Day" concert event at Elland Road.  It serves as a visual record of the fashion, youth subculture and electric atmosphere at the absolute peak of the Madchester era. It documents a massive "baggy invasion" of Yorkshire where a stadium full of fans gathered at the home of Leeds United. The historic line up featured headliner Happy Mondays and Support acts The Farm, The La's Northside, Stereo MC's and the High. There were DJ sets by Mike Pickering and and Paul Oakenfold.
