Mechanical Kiss

After a long silence, Puzzle Muteson returns in a new setting with Mechanical Kiss, a one-off collaborative record shaped in Bangkok rather than Ryde. Its songs trade coastal stillness for concrete heat, sleepless motion and dense nocturnal rhythm, with vocals written and recorded far from familiar ground.

Thick beats, submerged basslines and dark electronic textures give the record its hidden architecture. The voice moves through it half-awake, caught between instinct and confession, while repetition and accident press these songs into shape under low light and lingering tension.

It sits apart from En Garde, Theatrics and Swum: still exposed, wounded and tender, but held inside a harder shell. On Above The Stage, another voice appears as a second temperature, opening a suspended, ghosted chamber within this intimate, shadowy record.
