Memories Linger

Formed in the late ’70s, 50/50 was the studio project of wildly prolific and talented British duo Richard Haines and David Cowles, whose blend of irresistible synth-forward pop, classic ’60s British songwriting and thoughtful, imaginative lyricism should have propelled them to the top of the charts.

Instead, they never received the attention they so richly deserved. Memories Linger marks 50/50’s first-ever studio album, introducing the duo through 12 captivating songs recorded between 1981 and 1984.

Featuring nine previously unreleased tracks, it includes a 12-page booklet with unseen photos and liner notes by Charles Donovan. Audio is newly mastered by multi-Grammy-nominated engineer John Baldwin.
