Individually, Justo the MC and Maticulous have built serious resumes in the underground hip hop world. Justo, who came up under the Gang Starr Foundation, has worked with Lord Finesse, Rockwilder, Marco Polo and DJ Skizz, and most recently released Black Ops, produced entirely by Showbiz of DITC.

Maticulous, who came up under Fat Beats NY, has delivered several producer albums and instrumental projects, with credits alongside MF Doom, Masta Ace, Your Old Droog, Fame of MOP, Blu and RA the Rugged Man.

After a chance meeting at SiriusXM studios, the pair started shaping what became Mind Of A Man. It’s a strong snapshot of Brooklyn hip hop rooted in tradition, with guest appearances from Kev Brown, Rasheed Chappell, DJ Eclipse and Davenport Grimes.
