Moonlight Sessions

Moonlight Sessions captures a primal, unfiltered immediacy, drawing on the energy of Throwing Muses’ live shows. Recorded on their Moonlight Concessions 2026 tour at the Ottobar in Baltimore, it features Kristin Hersh’s monolithic guitar, sweeping cello and acerbic vocal delivery.

The 47-minute live set mixes new material with classic cuts from Hunkpapa, Purgatory/Paradise, House Tornado, The Real Ramona and Sun Racket. For the show, Hersh was joined by Fred Abong on drums, her son Dylan on bass and Pete Harvey on cello.
