From the 1964 concert that showcased this brilliant band as a unit of incandescent beauty - the phenomenal, youthful rhythm section of Carter (Bass), Williams (Drums) and Hancock (Keys) joined the supple lyricism and technical excellence of the frontline (Davis was joined here by the 'Memphis Monster' George Coleman on Tenor Sax) to unforgettable effect as they worked their way through four extended versions of standards and the Davis original 'All Blues'.
