Released in 1982, Night Nurse is one of the best-known records of Gregory Isaacs' career.
Recorded at Tuff Gong Studios in Kingston, Jamaica, the album was produced by Isaacs and bassist Errol "Flabba" Holt, with the Roots Radics providing the backing. The musicians included drummer Lincoln "Style" Scott, guitarist Eric "Bingy Bunny" Lamont, lead guitarist Dwight Pinkney, keyboard player Wycliffe "Steelie" Johnson and synthesizer player Wally Badarou.
This 180 gram vinyl re-issue faithfully replicates the original Island Records pressing and includes the original's poster.
