No Home

Lane Hartley’s No Home arrives via Royal Oakie Records, co-produced with David Hartley of The War On Drugs and Adam McDaniel. Recorded at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville, it brings in Mary Lattimore, Seth Kaufman, Jack Victor Johnson and more from North Carolina’s close-knit music community.

After Naming Horses, Lane Hartley left Los Angeles for the Carolinas and found a new creative spark in Asheville. What began as plans for one song became a full live studio session with a six-piece band, shaped by instinct, warmth and a real sense of shared discovery.

Lyrically, No Home moves through alienation, intimacy and belonging, balancing dark themes with bright arrangements inspired by No Other, After the Gold Rush and Love. Songs including I Am Not Ashamed, Mother, All Of This Is Yours, Tone Poem, Love Is Not A Song and No Home give the record its haunted, beautiful pull.
