No Me Puedo Controlar

Syntoma is a DIY synth band formed in Mexico City in the early 80's. Syntoma is one of the first bands in Mexico (and in Latin America) whose mix punk with synths and drum machines. Remaster from the original tapes this reissue come with an extra A2 poster with photos, lyrics and liner notes. The song No Me Puedo Controlar was included in the compilation Back Up: Mexican Tecno Pop 1980-1989 released by Dark Entries in 2021. No Me Puedo Controlar, the only Syntoma's LP, released in 1983 by the independent labels Corporacion Sintetica and Tropico Digital, combined the benefits and atrocities of speculative science fiction with dystopian opera that opened the doors to new formulas for understanding the progress of human degradation. Where some used technology to destroy and conquer, others to create and unify.
