No One Knows How Wild The Wind Blows

Second album for 130701 from Iranian composer and sound artist Ava Rasti, following her acclaimed 2025 release The River.

A striking collection of immersive ambient and drone compositions, expanding the sonic world established by The River.

Written between 2024 and 2026 during a period of continual movement between countries, the album explores belonging, displacement and the uncertainty of home. Inspired by the writings of Elizabeth Bishop, Molly Drake and Forough Farrokhzad.
