Bassist George Trebar and his quartet Nighthawks’ debut album for Rubicon Jazz is a reflective and affectionate look at the parallels of jazz and cinema, interspersed with original compositions by Trebar. 

His love of the cinema and the music composed for it by John Barry, Burt Bacharach, Michel Legrand and Bernard Hermann, among others, permeates each track of this atmospheric album.
