comprising of former the beatings / the beat up frontman nick pankhurst and ex solomon - pre duke spirit drummer, ben carpenter, creepy morons debut single 'piece of mind' is the second release on stool pigeon magazine's new label, pigeon coup records. formed at the arse end of 2005 by a log cabin builder and an out of work footwear model the idea was to tour just once; with legendary west coast hardcore outfit big business. inspired by how much fun it is to make noise and hurt people's ears, the youthful twosome set about making a record only to discover that it's a bit hard and that alot of stuff sounded shit. undaunted and with the aid of the 'fifth moron', scott 'milf' mccormick the creepy morons are now proud parents of a debut single that promises to break cheap woofers up and down the country. 'piece of mind' is an uncompromising, classy and rumbling slab of dense rock 'n' roll whilst 'joanne' is swampy and unnerving.
