Don McLean's remastered 1977 release of Prime Time is a testimonial of McLean's belief in the power of melody and worked against the stereotype he was saddled with because of "American Pie." His albums demonstrate a loving breadth of material and his committed enthusiasm for songwriting. The CD adds one bonus track, "If You Can Dream."
