Released in 1986, Ragin’, Full-On marks the explosive debut of fIREHOSE, formed by ex–Minutemen members Mike Watt and George Hurley with Ohio guitarist/vocalist Ed Crawford. The album fuses punk energy with jazz-inflected rhythms and sharp, free-spirited musicianship, carrying the DIY ethos forward while carving out a new, melodic direction.
